Poems A Plenty

There are poems and more,
A plenty to hold in store.
Stir the thoughts.
What have we got?

Short reads mean a lot,
Then measure what you got.

Well Polished Lines

Share the good thoughts, send them on.
In his mind, the miner is mining on.
Apply them quickly onto the line.
release the only when polished fine.

Deep in the depth of the mind
Is the surprise of what to find.
Re-do replace, refine, many times.
Then let it speak well, from on the line.

Read, let ripen, patiently forsake awhile.
May need to change, alter, try another style.
Words may travel for many miles.
Attract emotion, igniting devotion, or a smile.

Days and ways do fulfill their stay.
Polished words will move on their way.
A written line, when all polished fine
Reveals its message and purpose combined.

Those thoughts the miner, so carefully mined
May long reside in another mid,
Words inspired, like a treasure find,
Become words to share on the written line.

Grandpa New

Those were the homestead days with country schools, a local church in the small village, and dirt roads that always seemed to lead home.

Grandma and the boys walked to church on Sunday morning and Grandpa read his Bible at home.

One day a son stayed home to see why Grandpa did not go to church. There followed a sermon not forgotten.

Grandpa read of the one mediator between God and man, found in I Timothy, chapter 2: verse 6.  He read of the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ and of eternal life, which is  promised to the believer at
His appearing, found in Colossians chapter 3: verse 4.

It was a precious day they did not forget.

Powers Way

There is a power in ocean waves.
A power in rhythm moves histories play.

World tragedies in reality are unknown to generations down line.
Their yourh are miss-led and told everything is fine.

Until it is too late, they are locked in tragedies grind.
The power in rhythm makes its play to gain control.

Not freedoms way but will take its toll.
Seek knowledge from wisdom of old.

My people are destroyed by the lack of knowledge, Hosea 4:6
For the Lord is a God of knowledge 1 Sam. 2:3

Time Capsule Play

Is life the stage of a time capsule play?
Isaiah must have seen, years ahead of the day.
Who held the script, to write the line?
Who came to fulfill prophesies say?

Are there treasures to find, from another time?
History to comprehend, stories to edify?
Notice the changes, from rules and regulation,
The law of love gives a great explanation.

Love can cover it all.
Listen and install.
Love fulfills life's way.
Apply to the trials of each day.

               Little Ears Are Listening

Little ears are listening,
Little minds are recording,
Building memories into tomorrows.

Someone told what a day may bring.
It is a strange timing, of this memory thing.
A morning arrival, a new journey begins.

An afternoon funeral, an old friend's journey ends.
There is more to life than following the crowd.
Prepare for the long road ahead.
We must be sure Gods word is read.

When the astronaut flew into space
The earth looked like a small place,
Lest mans beginning be forgot,
His words were, " in the beginning, God"

Life's instructions are God breathed.
It is for all nations and lands to heed.
Eternal life comes through its author
Our Saviour Jesus Christ, the One Mediator.

                 Wisdoms Way

There are powers in the ocean waves.
Powers also moves histories play.

Tragedies unknown to generations down line
Bring difficulties when told everything is fine.

When it is too late, they are locked in tragedies grind.
Then power makes its play to gain control.

Not freedoms way, but takes a toll.
Seek wisdoms way from ancient scrolls.

For the Lord is a God of knowledge. 1 Sam. 2:3.
My people are destroyed by the lack of knowledge. Hosea 4:6.
